Section 125.0231 of the Florida Statutes prohibits camping and sleeping on public property.  This law provides residents, business owners, and the Florida Attorney General the right to file written notice with the Town Council of the Town of Southwest Ranches of an alleged violation of the prohibition of public sleeping and public camping.

To file notice with the Town Council of an alleged violation of the prohibition of public sleeping and public camping, email customerservice@southwestranches.org.

You will need to provide the following information in your email:

• your name,
• your contact information,
• a location of the public sleeping or camping,
• a date of the public sleeping or camping,
• a description or photograph of the alleged violator.
