The Southwest Ranches Emergency Management team works with other municipalities, state and federal agencies and services agencies who are responsible to provide overall pre- and post disaster planning and other programs such as training and exercises for natural and man-caused disasters that can affect our community.
The Town of Southwest Ranches adopted the National Incidental Management System on July 7, 2005 by Resolution 2005-085. This program helps the Town organize during an emergency and ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information between the Town, Broward County and any other agencies necessary to ensure a quick recovery after an emergency. Please visit the links below for information on emergency preparedness, Hurricane Season updates and other important information. While we hope to never implement our plans, it’s important to have them.
