Set Screen Resolution Instructions

Monitors have the ability to give you bright, colorful images with amazing quality. We designed this site for the average monitor, set at below-average screen resolution. Most people have their screen set at a resolution of 1024 x 768. You can, however, view this entire site with a resolution as low as 960 x 720.

Here's how to change your resolution if you are still using an old 800x600 or 640x480 resolution:
1. Right click on your desktop (in a blank area without icons), then click on "Properties"
or you may Click on the Windows "Start" button, then on "Control Panel" then on "Display"
2. Click on the "Settings" tab
3. Change your colors to at least "High Color (16 bit)"
4. Slide your "Screen Area" lever towards "More" until you reach 960 x 720 or higher
5. Click on "Apply" then on "OK"

* You do not have to restart your computer for these settings to take affect!

*Some monitors (15" or below) cannot handle higher resolutions and your icons may seem to be "off the screen". In this case, use your monitor settings to control vertical & horizontal measures. You may need to contact your Computer Tech for help with your particular computer settings.

*Remember, this site is set to the new 2001 Internet standard. You may choose not to follow the standard and remain at a lower resolution, but you will probably have trouble viewing this entire site (left to right)

Change Your Browser to Internet Explorer (Windows)

1. Click on the Start Button
2. Click on Programs
3. Click on Internet Explorer

* If your Internet Explorer icon is not located in that menu, please contact your Computer Tech for help.

* Disclaimer: Your Webmaster (Not the Town as an entity) recommends using Internet Explorer. It appears that more scripts and standard formats work better with IE than with other browsers.
