This passive park was maintained as a wholesale nursery for over 15 years. The Town of Southwest Ranches purchased the property in 2004 for preservation of open space and for development of outdoor recreational amenities.
Currently open to the public are: parking, playground, restroom, a picnic shelter available for rental, a basketball goal for practice, and a multi-use field that can host incidental use for baseball/softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and other sports. No permits are given or required for occasional use of this field. The Town hosts organized Youth Sports on Saturdays operated by i9 Sports with programs for soccer and flag football.

Design of further amenities includes a fishing pond and pier, as well as equestrian and multi-use recreational facilities.
Country Estates Park, also known as “Fishing Hole” Park serves local residents as well as visitors from other places. The pastoral nature of the facility compliments the Town’s rural character.
