The Town of Southwest Ranches has been under the South Florida Water Management District Year-Round Landscape Irrigation Conservation Measures Rule (Chapter 40E-24, Florida Administrative Code) since March 2010. This measure limits landscape irrigation to two (2) days a week throughout the District which is inclusive of Broward County and all of its municipalities. The link below has factual information from the District, including but not limited to, irrigation schedule based on property address, acceptable exclusions, alternative measures for newly installed landscaping, and contact information for District representatives.
