I. SERVICES OVERVIEW
The Town of Southwest Ranches is currently seeking a person or firm to provide contract services to the Town for all computer, telecommunications, e-mail system, internet and intranet services as well as maintenance on all hardware and software. The contract will also include web hosting, backup data storage services, as well as staff training on various software and equipment as needed. The selected person or firm shall posses the capability to provide IT assistance to the Town on a 24/7 basis. This may require a physical presents or may be handled remotely or through teleconferencing with staff, whichever is the most cost effective for the Town. The contractor will be required to assist the Town in evaluating and selecting new or replacement hardware and/or software. The Town will consider persons or firms that can provide web hosting and off site data storage for Town data files.

The person or firm selected must have 5 years verifiable recent experience in providing PC, software and mainframe maintenance and support. The successful contractor must be independent from any firm or company that would be utilized to provide equipment, software or services to the Town under this contract.

II. MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at Town Hall, 6589 SW 160 Avenue, on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at 10:00AM. Proposals will only be accepted from those individuals or firms having attended this meeting.

III. RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS
Copies of the RFP may be obtained at Town Hall, Office of the Town Clerk, 6589 SW 160 Avenue, or by calling (954) 434-0008. All respondents must submit 1 sealed, unbound original, and 7 sealed, bound copies of their proposal to the Town Clerk prior to the opening date and time referenced above. Facsimile and electronic mail responses will not be accepted. No proposals will be accepted after the opening date and time referenced above, and will be returned, unopened, to the respondent. All questions regarding the RLI must be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk either via e-mail at sowens@swranches.org, or via facsimile at (954) 434-1490. Additional response requirements may be listed in the RFP. Each respondent is solely responsible for satisfying any and all requirements specified in this invitation and in the RFP.

IV. SELECTION PROCESS
At the opening date and time referenced above, the Town Clerk will publicly open and read aloud the names of all respondents. All respondents are invited to attend the opening. A meeting of the Town’s Selection and Negotiation Committee (SNC) shall be held to formally review all responses and provide a recommendation to the Town Council. The SNC may require presentations, interviews, etc. of the three (3) top ranked firms prior to making their recommendation to the Town Council.

I. SERVICES OVERVIEW
The Town of Southwest Ranches is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to provide professional graphic design services. The Town has a monthly newsletter “The Southwest Rancher” and frequent graphic design needs. The service will require quality, timely and efficient production for the Town. Services requested shall include the following:

• Electronic file transfer of articles from Town in MS Word, Adobe, or other acceptable format to designer
• Electronic file transfer in Adobe of completed layout pre press by designer to Town for proofing
• Revise as necessary by Town designee
• Deliver electronically or other to printer for timely production and delivery
• Monthly invoicing of graphic design services to Town of Southwest Ranches

The firm selected must have five (5) years verifiable recent experience in providing quality publication and graphic design services. The fee structure can be quoted on a per hour or a per function/per month.

The Town of Southwest Ranches is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to provide professional printing services. The Town has a monthly newsletter “The Southwest Rancher” and frequent printing needs. The service will require quality, timely and efficient production for the Town. Services requested shall include the following:

• Timely production and drop of Southwest Rancher Newsletter to meet established in home delivery date of the First of the Month
• Capability to receive electronic file transfer in an acceptable format of completed layout from designer
• Delivery of paper pre-press proof to Town Hall for signoff.
• Revisions as indicated by Town if necessary in established fonts
• Delivery to mail house (if applicable) for timely production and delivery to USPS
• Monthly invoicing of printing / fulfillment / postage services to Town of Southwest Ranches

The firm selected must have five (5) years verifiable recent experience in providing quality newsletter and or publication printing. The fee structure must be quoted on a per spread/issue breakdown.

I. SERVICES OVERVIEW
The Town of Southwest Ranches is accepting bids from qualified vendors to provide Roadway and Traffic Signage Maintenance Services to the Town. The work includes, but may not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery and services for proper maintenance, which for the purposes of this bid, shall include roadway signs, pavement repairs, pavement construction, guardrail construction and repairs, miscellaneous drainage, maintenance of traffic, and other miscellaneous work as described in the scope of services.

The Town will complete a Bid Award analysis that will look for any unbalanced bids to ensure that unit prices are within industry standards and that the Bidders are not charging excessive unit prices for those items the Town will utilize the most. A meeting of the Town’s Selection and Negotiation Committee (SNC) shall be held to formally review all responses and provide a recommendation to the Town Council. The SNC may require presentations, interviews, etc. of the three (3) top ranked firms prior to making their recommendation to the Town Council.

The Town of Southwest Ranches reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any informality or irregularity in any response received, to re-advertise for responses, or to take any such actions that may be deemed in the best interest of the Town.
