In response to the recent Property Tax Legislation, Town Staff has been diligently looking at ways to cut costs in our respective departments. To that effect the Clerk’s Office will be initiating a new policy regarding public notices.

The Town of Southwest Ranches will now post its regular meeting notices, in their entirety, in the lobby of Town Hall and on our website. Those legal notices required by Florida Statutes to be advertised in a publication of general circulation are published in the Daily Business Review. Any special legal noties (i.e.-Budget Ads, LPA ads, and other Display Ads) are published in the Sun-Sentinel. All notices, regardless of their legal requirements, will be posted online as well.

As always, it is our goal to provide the highest quality of services in the most fiscally responsible manner to you, the taxpayers. These changes will ensure the responsible use of your dollars and will better facilitate communications with you, our residents.
