Elections in Southwest Ranches

The Town of Southwest Ranches holds a Municipal Election every other year on the 2nd Tuesday in November (on even numbered years). Occasionally, municipalities can have "Special Elections" when called by the Town Council and properly advertised by the Town Clerk.

Please see your voter's identification card or contact the Supervisor of Elections office for your precinct number and polling location. Per Florida Statue 100.011 the polls shall be open at the voting places at 7:00 AM a.m., on the day of the election, and shall be kept open until 7:00 p.m., of the same day.

To obtain a Absentee ballot you can:

The Supervisor of Elections will accept requests for absentee ballots up until the day before the election. Be advised that per Florida Statue 101.67(2) all marked absent electors' ballots to be counted must be received by the supervisor by 7 p.m. the day of the election. All ballots received thereafter shall be marked with the time and date of receipt and filed in the supervisor's office.
